AudienceJet is an official Meta Business Partner utilizing the WhatsApp Business API to provide automated ordering and customer engagement solutions for food businesses in the GCC region and beyond.

3. Data We Collect

3.1 Information from Business Users

When you register as a business on our platform, we collect:

  • Account Information: Business name, contact name, email address, phone number, password (encrypted)
  • Business Details: Business type, address, operating hours, logo, business registration documents
  • WhatsApp Business Account: WhatsApp Business Account ID (WABA), phone number ID, access tokens (securely stored)
  • Payment Information: Billing address, payment method details (processed by Stripe - we do not store full card numbers)
  • Product Catalog: Menu items, product names, descriptions, prices, images, categories
  • Payment Gateway Credentials: MyFatoorah or Tap API credentials for processing customer payments

3.2 Information from End Users (Customers)

When customers interact with businesses through our WhatsApp chatbots, we collect:

  • Contact Information: WhatsApp phone number, name (as provided in WhatsApp profile or during chat)
  • Communication Data: Messages exchanged with the chatbot, language preferences
  • Order Information: Items ordered, delivery address, special instructions, order history
  • Payment Information: Transaction IDs, payment status (actual payment details are processed by MyFatoorah/Tap)
  • Device Information: Device type, operating system (as provided by WhatsApp API)

3.3 Automatically Collected Information

  • Log Data: IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, time and date of visits
  • Analytics: Usage patterns, feature engagement, error logs
  • Cookies: Session cookies, preference cookies (see Section 9)

4.1 For Business Users

  • To create and manage your AudienceJet account
  • To connect your WhatsApp Business Account through Meta's Embedded Signup
  • To create and manage message templates and chatbot flows

AudienceJet uses Meta's official WhatsApp Business API. During onboarding, business users grant the following permissions through Meta's Embedded Signup:

5.1 whatsapp_business_messaging

What it allows: This permission enables your business to send and receive messages through the WhatsApp Business API.

How we use it:

  • Send automated chatbot responses to customer inquiries
  • Send order confirmations and status updates
  • Send delivery notifications
  • Receive and process incoming customer messages

Data accessed: Message content, sender phone number, message timestamps

5.2 whatsapp_business_management

What it allows: This permission enables us to manage WhatsApp Business Account settings on your behalf.

How we use it:

  • Create and submit message templates for Meta approval
  • Configure automated message flows
  • Manage phone number settings
  • Access messaging analytics

Data accessed: WABA settings, template status, phone number configuration

5.3 catalog_management

What it allows: This permission enables us to manage your product catalog on WhatsApp.

How we use it:

  • Create and update products in your WhatsApp catalog
  • Sync product information between AudienceJet and WhatsApp
  • Enable customers to browse products directly in WhatsApp
  • Update prices, availability, and product details

Data accessed: Product names, descriptions, prices, images, categories

Important Notes:

  • You can revoke these permissions at any time through your Meta Business Suite
  • Revoking permissions will disable the associated AudienceJet features
  • We only access data necessary to provide our services
  • We never sell your WhatsApp data to third parties
  • All API access complies with Meta's Platform Terms and Policies

6. Data Sharing & Disclosure

6.1 Service Providers

We share data with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our platform:

  • Meta Platforms, Inc.: WhatsApp Business API for messaging services
  • Stripe, Inc.: Processing subscription payments from businesses
  • MyFatoorah / Tap Payments: Processing customer payments (as configured by businesses)
  • Cloud Hosting Providers: Secure data storage and server infrastructure
  • Analytics Providers: Understanding platform usage and performance

6.2 Business to Customer Data

End user (customer) data is shared with the respective business they are ordering from. Each business is responsible for their own use of customer data in compliance with applicable laws.
